Oceanside CA— The City of Oceanside Parks and Recreation Division and the Senior Citizen Standing Committee are accepting nominations for the “Senior Citizen of the Year” award.
You can nominate a senior age 55 and up, who has volunteered and/or taken action to make Oceanside a better place to live/work/play.
Please submit the senior citizen’s name, and a one-page 200 word essay to the Parks & Recreation Division Office at 300 N. Coast Highway, Oceanside, CA 92054. The deadline is Friday, September 4, 2015 at 4:00 p.m.
The winner will be announced at the Senior Expo on Thursday, October 8 at 12 noon, in front of the Oceanside Public Library, located at the Civic Center, 330 North Coast Highway.
