Bonsall CA— On Sunday afternoon, San Diego County Sheriff’s Deputies from the Fallbrook Substation responded to a reported assault with a deadly weapon in the 29000 Block of Margale Lane in Bonsall.
The suspect attacked his roommate with a knife, was disarmed, left the residence, and tried to get back in by breaking a window when deputies arrived and took him into custody.
The victim was left with a superficial laceration to his neck and refused medical treatment.
The suspect had non-life-threatening injuries that required medical attention. Once medically cleared, the suspect, 55 year-old Joseph Russell Colihan, will be booked into the Vista Detention Facility on two counts of 245 P.C., Assault with a Deadly Weapon and two counts of 422 P.C., Terrorist Threats.
