Oceanside CA— Multiple search warrants were served at locations in the City of Oceanside this morning. The warrants were served attempting to locate evidence from the Mustafa Gordon homicide, which occurred February 16, 2015 at Buddy Todd Park [Link].
Agencies participating in the warrant services and arrest of one suspect were the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Drug Enforcement Administration, S.W.A.T. from the Carlsbad Police Department, S.W.A.T. and Special Enforcement Services from the Oceanside Police Department.
One suspect was arrested, David Ioane, DOB October 2, 1989 of Oceanside, and charged with conspiracy to commit murder.
He was transported to the Oceanside Police Department and then to the Vista Detention Facility.
The Oceanside Police Department is still seeking other persons of interest in this ongoing investigation. As this investigation is continuing, some information will not be available at this time.
