Leucadia 101 Mainstreet Association presents its 16th Annual LeucadiART Walk, Sunday, Aug. 28, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The free community event is held along North Coast Highway 101 between Encinitas for Equality, 1900 North Coast Highway 101, and Coastal Animal Hospital, 434 North Coast Highway 101. Highway 101 will come alive with fine art, live art demos, live dance performances and live music as well as a libation garden.
“LeucadiART Walk is a truly honest representation of the art and soul here in our neighborhood,” Leucadia 101 Mainstreet Executive Director Brittany Coralles said. “After a long hiatus, our organization is anxious to get the community and families down to our local plazas for some thoughtful shopping to support our community culture. Leucadia 101 Mainstreet is excited to welcome its residents back to stroll along the 101 and support both the fine art artists and mainstreet businesses. Sales from purchases go directly to the artists. LeucadiaART Walk is free to all to attend, and we encourage biking, walking, and skating to the event.”
